Abella's School of Dance

Saint Augustine Ballet (SAB) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization dedicated to providing exceptional dance instruction and quality ballet performances for the community. Founded in 2009 by Luis Abella, SAB offers local dancers the unique opportunity to perform alongside professional guest artists and invites dancers from across Northeast Florida to audition for its productions.

Each year, SAB produces four major events, including full-length ballets and a student gala performance, with proceeds supporting the organization's operating expenses. The merger with Abella's School of Dance in 2021 aimed to create a conservatory program for pre-professional dancers and establish a full-time company, further enriching the local arts scene in St. Augustine, Florida.
