The idea for Wala Bea Inc. came to Beatrice Tate in January of 2010 while attending CDIA, a digital arts school in the George Town area of Washington DC. Through Wala Bea Inc. she also plans to start a catering company, event planning company, group home for troubled youth as well as expand her mother's home based child development center (Harriet Smith Child Care) as well as a host of other community enriching programs.
