The American Humanist Association is a nonprofit organization representing atheists, humanists and nontheists to defend the separation of church and state.

Catholics for a Free Choice organizes seminars, workshops, and technical assistance, publishing and collaboration programs with collegial groups pertaining to sexual and reproductive ethics. It offers an education and communications program that carries out the research, development, production and distribution of publications on reproductive health, ethics, theology and other topics. Catholics for a Free Choice educates opinion leaders, policy makers, the press and the public about the theological, ethical and political initiatives of the Roman Catholic church, as well as prochoice perspectives, along with their implications for the broader community, public policy and the lives of women. It helps Catholic women to make thoughtful decisions through respected publications that address the Catholic doctrine and the moral and ethical issues involved in reproductive health decisions. Catholics for a Free Choice works with a global network of prochoice Catholics that includes sister organizations throughout Latin America. Catholics for a Free Choice is located in Washington, D.C.

W elcome to the home of the National League of American Pen Women, the oldest multi-discipline arts organization for women in the United States. With 135 branches throughout the country, we are a community of professional artists, writers, poets, composers, and arrangers who believe in the power of words, art, and music to illuminate the human experience, fire the imagination, and nurture the soul. When our founders established the organization in 1897, they wanted to bring together women of the arts "for mutual benefits and the strength that comes of union." Today we are a 501 (c) (3) corporation. Our mission is to encourage, recognize and promote the production of creative work of professional standard in Art, Letters, and Music. As Pen Women, we are also dedicated to sharing our talents and time with non-members through outreach programs to foster the arts. Our archives chronicle the legacy of illustrious members, such as Vinnie Ream, Eudora Welty, Pearl Buck, Eleanor Roosevelt, Amy Beach, and Carrie Jacobs Bond. And there are thousands more.
