Tornado Taekwondo

History

Tornado Taekwondo pioneered in providing competitive taekwondo for the residents of the nation's capital. Our founder, Master Mark E. Baker, has been recognized by the International Olympic Committee for his work in establishing taekwondo as an Olympic sport. Since our founding we have been close to metro, close to the heart of the city and close to our neighbors. Classes for children, adults, and families are exciting and rewarding. Students are successful competitors but still cultivate respect, discipline, and self-control. All of our training focuses on life long health and wellness, personal safety, and intelligent training and conditioning. Tornado Taekwondo was recognized as the 2012 Best Fitness Center.

Specialties

Specializing in modern competitive taekwondo as seen in the Olympics. Here at Tornado Taekwondo we offer special workshops in self defense, weapons, breaking, grappling. In addition to those classes we offer other fitness and wellness instruction for all ages.
