I love the history of this carousel but it doesn't compare to the one at the zoo! Most of the horses need some serious cosmetic help - it's just so sad to see this bit of history on the Mall...

Nice break for kids around the national mall. Reasonable amount of time and goes pretty fast. Does cost $3.50 per person unless under 1 years of age so can be expensive for a toddler. And cash only
