History

Dr. Irene S. Vogel founded the Executive Alcohol Disease Program in 1993 to help high-functioning individuals suffering from addictive disorders. As Director of the Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation program for the US Army at Walter Reed Medical Center, Dr. Vogel discreetly helped many high-ranking officers, members of Congress, and Federal agencies continue to work while receiving treatment. Her professionally recognized successes, and innovative techniques landed her as a national authority featured in professional magazines, the Oprah Show, and many other media. In 2018, EADP was renamed Tenley. The practice runs as a collaborative of talented therapists who are bringing in art therapy, yoga, EMDR and many other treatment modalities, which support sobriety and healing.

Tenley House was my recovery home for 10 months, giving me a foundation in recovery that has lasted 12.5 years. My 2 counselors in the IOP program were dedicated, caring, knowledge individuals.
