Tango Mercurio offers authentic Argentine tango classes, private tango lessons and social dances (milongas) in the greater DC area. Tango Mercurio is a non-profit organization, presenting outreach opportunities and supporting an all-volunteer Tango Community Orchestra. Why tango? It is a community-based art form with a global following. Tango embraces dancers, musicians, and the public at large across boundaries of identity, class, and generation. Our mission is to promote cultural understanding and social cohesion through Argentine Tango by providing the opportunities for dance, music, learning, and community engagement.

Website is very disorganized and overwhelming! When you call for help be prepare for the guy running this program to confuse you even more. He speaks super fast and gets frustrated easily....
