The Stewart R Mott Foundation operated until June 30th, 2022, championing a philosophy deeply rooted in the Mott family motto, "Spectemur Agendo" or "Let us be known by our deeds." Since its inception in 1968, the foundation supported progressive organizations focused on systemic change through strategic grantmaking, often providing initial funding to those that might not yet qualify for larger grants.
