With approximately 500 members across the United States and 28 foreign countries, the Society of Woman Geographers includes professionals from various disciplines such as anthropology, journalism, archaeology, oceanography, and diplomacy. They hold regular meetings and field trips related to their members' work, and their headquarters is located in an historic townhouse in Washington, DC.
