Shameless Chef

History

Who is the Shameless Chef? Sandie Diamond (AKA The Shameless Chef) came to DC from LA in 2013 to complete her master's in social work. In 2014 she had a routine surgery that took longer than expected to heal. During this time she began to bake, rolling cake-based recipes into bite-sized treats that were soothing to her recovery - both physically and mentally. The more she rolled, the more at peace she found herself. This is how DreamBites were born. Sandie loves to bake, love on others, build community, and help people treat themselves instead of cheat themselves without reservation, without doubt, without guilt, without fear, and most of all, without shame. The Shameless Chef Mission The Shameless Chef seeks to creates jobs for folks in the community who have struggled with self-sufficiency and independence. Sandie deeply believes that without community we are lost, but without shame, we can thrive!

Locally sourced and crafted with love, DreamBites are a Shameless Chef creation - a simple, rich and decadent sweet treat, small enough to minimize guilt, but delicious enough to maximize joy. Each DreamBite is hand-rolled and individually dipped in our DC kitchen and should be shamelessly devoured in just one to two bites. For those who are tired of shelling out too much dough for one dry, over-frosted, under-par cupcake that results in guilt and shame and more hours at the gym, it's time to try a DreamBite.* Warning: Some people have found it impossible to eat only one DreamBite.
