After finishing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the New York University School of Medicine, she completed a 3-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), during which time she was the recipient of the NIH Intramural Loan Repayment grant for her research.
