My specialties are counseling adults of all ages (from college-aged to elders) who are experiencing a medical illness, grief, loss, and/or trauma, and supporting family caregivers taking care of a sick or elderly loved one, as well as health care professionals. I have extensive experience counseling adults who are coping with a diagnosis of cancer, HIV/AIDS, an organ transplant, other chronic illnesses or disabilities. I also use my assessment and writing skills to provide through psycho-social evaluations to support immigration cases. I have locations in the Brookland and Dupont Circle neighborhoods.
