The Population Reference Bureau informs people around the world about various issues related to population, health and the environment. Its domestic programs department informs decision makers, educators, the media and concerned citizens about the changing demography of the United States and its implications for public policies. The bureau s international programs focus on a range of population and health issues, such as family planning, chronic diseases, HIV/AIDS, migration and global aging. Its KIDS COUNT program disseminates information about the status of children through a series of public events, an annual national report and separate state reports. The Population Reference Bureau is located in Washington, D.C.
