After six years of operation, the Peruvian Brothers have expanded from one original food truck to three food trucks and concession stands at stadiums, theaters, zoos, festivals, and markets. Today, their large scale catering company serves the entire District of Columbia metro area including Maryland and Virginia. Thanks to the Lanzone brothers, Peruvian dishes have been enjoyed at the White House, State Department, Capitol Hill, corporate lunches, summits, galas, weddings, festivals and more. I love how the spinach & cheese empanada isn't shy with the filling. The price is a bit on the expensive side for the size, definitely meant to be a treat once in a while.

I stopped by for a chicken empanada, and was really disappointed. It's mostly breading, which was really dry and felt stale. The chicken was also super dry, and the flavor was relatively bland....

I love Peruvian brothers! They have a stand by Union market. I like taking selfies with the fake "mascot" Llamas. Sometimes real ones stop by. The food is delicious.
