The Ny Ave Community Club, established in 1962, is dedicated to helping DC school students enhance their academic skills, prepare for college and career, and achieve success in adulthood. With a focus on long-term, one-on-one relationships between students and caring adult tutor-mentors, the club provides a supportive and secure environment where learning and understanding thrive.
As they gear up for the 2023-2024 school year, the Community Club is excited to offer in-person tutoring and is currently accepting new students in grades 6-11. By fostering a structured program and emphasizing personal connections, the club believes it offers students the best opportunity for academic and personal growth. Additionally, the club welcomes new tutors who are interested in making a positive impact on the lives of young learners.
