NOVO Properties was founded in 2003 on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. After initially working out of an English basement apartment on Capitol Hill, NOVO acquired the Chambers funeral home, a two-story Art Deco building, in April of 2004 which now serves as NOVO Properties’ Washington, DC office and corporate headquarters. NOVO was one of the early organizations that reinvested in the Barracks Row neighborhood in Southeast, Washington, DC. In 2005, NOVO expanded our business from the Washington Metropolitan Area to Chicago, Illinois and to the city of Cambridge on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
