Our name is a tribute to the eccentric and hospitable character of Doug Schantz's great grandmother. The welcoming and inclusive spirit of Nellie's Sports Bar is reflective of the lady who loved to entertain. What an experience from beginning to end! A small dive bar in DC with the best drag brunch! Prosecco was flowing, food was surprisingly good but basic, but the show OMG the show was the cake...

Ok love this place. First time there during Pride. Such a community, good happy hour...OMG the pours are heavy but the staff is friendly. Need to come back for brunch.

Happy Pride Month Great place to hang on the balcony and chill and also a great place to be at for great club vibes. Oh and let's not forget the drag show...the queens are amazing! Good bar food...
