The National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) serves as the leading advocate for the U.S. pork industry, championing the sustainability of pork producers and stakeholders by advocating for favorable public policies, promoting market access, and defending the industry's freedom to operate. Comprising 42 state-affiliated pork producer associations, NPPC works tirelessly to ensure the U.S. pork industry continues to provide consumers worldwide with safe, high-quality, and nutritious pork products.

The U.S. pork industry, supported by over 570,000 jobs and 60,000 producers, makes a significant economic contribution, annually marketing millions of hogs and adding billions of dollars to the GDP. NPPC actively engages in discussions on various policy issues, including agriculture, trade, animal health, food safety, and environmental sustainability, advocating for the interests of hardworking American pork producers in these critical areas.

NPPC not only amplifies the voices of pork industry stakeholders but also offers avenues for engagement to those interested in upholding the tradition of sustainable farming. Through its Strategic Investment Program and Pork Alliance Programs, NPPC invites producers, processors, suppliers, and enthusiasts to participate in shaping the future of the U.S. pork industry and staying informed on the latest industry developments.

I love my bacon! It CANNOT be crispy, as I like it a bit chewy. Unless of course, it's in a sandwich. Who wants to take a bite of a good BLTO ...(more on that later), and pull the bacon right...

5 stars for Fakin' Bacon - it's pretty good: http://lightlife.com/smokey.html Try it, you might likey (available at Rainbow Grocery). It's smoked tempeh. Don't expect it to taste like bacon.

Bacon tastes too good to be legal. I wish it came in a non-fat variety without making it taste like a piece of cardboard. It's especially good with pancakes and syrup.

As much as I claim to not like meat in any form (except chicken and turkey), I will tear the shit out of anything that has bacon in it. Okay, now I'm ashamed.
