In the north end of Georgetown is a large park that was once the estate of a ropemaker. He let neighbors picnic on his property and that legacy remains. The park became a public park in 1911....

I love Montrose park. This is an underrated and usually not super busy spot, and is a great place to bring your pup, play tennis, have a picnic, or let your kiddo play around on the playground....
