Latin American Montessori Bilingual Public Charter School's mission is to foster bilingualism in a self-directed learning environment in which children build a foundation of knowledge essential for a lifetime of learning. About Us LAMB offers a dual language (Spanish/Enlish) immersion traditional Montessori program to children beginning at ages 3-4 years of age and currently continuing through 5th grade. LAMB is the only dual language Montessori public charter school in the DC Metropolitan area and one of only a few nationwide. LAMB currently has four primary classrooms of pre-schoolers, pre-kindergarteners, and kindergarteners (ages 3-6), three elementary classrooms of first, second, and third grade, and one upper elementary classroom with fourth and fifth graders.
