Colleen S Kepner, MD
Colleen S. Kepner, MD, is the Medical Director of the Ob/Gyn Hospitalist Program at Sibley Memorial Hospital.Dr. Kepner began her career on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Assistant for Health Policy while also volunteering at the Whitman Walker Clinic. After recognizing her passion for direct patient care, she transitioned from politics to medicine. She obtained her medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Medstar Washington Hospital Center. As a National Health Service Corps scholar, she began her practice in a Federally Qualified Health Center in Colorado. While working for the FQHC, she expanded her interest in health care leadership with a focus on education and quality improvement. One of her most enduring projects was the development of a clinic-private practitioner co-op OB/Gyn Hospitalist program. It was designed to meet the care gaps in the community to provide patients with immediate access to high quality, safe obstetric care. Dr. Kepner also coordinates the inpatient care for the Maternal Health Access Program at Sibley Memorial Hospital. The program focuses on reducing the rise in maternal and neonatal morbidity in the District of Columbia by enhancing access to high-risk pregnancy care and health education, as well as identifying and addressing healthcare disparities in our community with a focus on health-related social needs.
Serena McClam Liebengood, MD
Dr. Liebengood is a radiologist who specializes in cross-sectional imaging. Dr. Liebengood received her Bachelor of Arts from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, followed by a Master of Health Services Administration at the University of Michigan, School of Public Health. She attended medical school and completed residency training at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She went on to complete a body imaging fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by the Armstrong Institute’s Leadership Program in Quality and Safety.She specializes in CT, MR, and Ultrasound. In addition to her clinical focus as a body imager, she has an interest in quality and safety.
William Dalton Craig, MD
Dr. Craig received his Bachelor’s degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, followed by medical school at The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. During his career as a Navy radiologist, Dr. Craig served as Radiologic Consultant to the White House and Capitol Physician and as Chairman of Radiology at both Bethesda Naval Hospital and the Department of Radiologic Pathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology where he was also section head of Genito-Urinary Imaging. Dr. Craig specializes in oncologic imaging and abdominal imaging with a focus on the genito-urinary system lecturing both nationally and internationally.He currently serves as Chairman of Radiology at Suburban Hospital, volunteers with the American Board of Radiology and is a journal reviewer for Radiographics.
