Ronald Cooper, DDS, FAGD, is committed to providing excellence in comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentistry for the DC community. Dr. Cooper graduated from the University of Maryland where he received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry. He went on to acquire his DDS, with honors, from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1988. From there Dr. Cooper continued his dental education with advanced training in post-graduate general dentistry at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Cooper's dental education continued with the acceptance of the Fellowship award in General Dentistry in 1997. He then became more focused on preserving teeth while at the same time improving smiles. Dr. Cooper is a member of several national and local professional associations including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the DC Dental Society. Dr. Cooper's services are General Cosmetic & Restorative which includes: veneers, Invisalign, tooth color fillings and sealants, crowns, teeth whitening, implant placement and restoration and bridges. His hygiene and periodontal services include Oral Prophylaxis, Prophy (Teeth Cleaning), Full Mouth Debridement, Scaling & Root Planing, Laser Periodontal Treatment, and Gingival Medicaments. His specialized services include Wisdom Teeth Management, Dentures/Partial Dentures, Retainers, Laser Biopsy and Implant Placement. He also manages emergencies for Root Canals, Extractions, Biopsy and Bone Grafting There is Nitrous Oxide/Laughing Gas available to support anxious patients.
