Indigo started as a passion project to bring the vibrant flavors of authentic Indian food we grew up with, to the people in our community. From humble beginnings of having a food stall outside of Union Station, and then vending at the Historical Eastern Market for 2 years, we decided to finally open our storefront in 2013 in NoMa. Our mission is to provide the feel of an authentic, home cooked meal in a casual setting. Our open kitchen allows patrons to watch the food being prepared fresh, which we think provides an ethereal quality when you have the final meal in front of you.
