Why is George Ave-Petworth a great metro station? Mostly because it's the closest one to my house. It's also great because, being on the green/yellow you can get there from the north OR south....

This metro station is poorly lit, unkempt, and currently one of the two escalators is under renovations, so only one exit is open. There's basically only one direction to exit the station anyways...

This metro serves the purpose from getting from point A to point B and that's about it. The escalators are hit or miss. Single tracking and repairs mean it could take a while to get your train....
