History

Georgetown Wine & Spirits has been here since the late 1930's. The store has witnessed various owners over the years, but Georgetown Wine & Spirits has always been and always will be, foremost, a neighborhood store. Well-integrated into the community, the store has provided great customer service and a broad selection of wines, beers, and spirits for over half a century. We are comitted to continuing this tradition of service, while keeping an eye to the future, to continuously improve our range of products and services, and to promote Georgetown Wine & Spirits as a fun, reliable, and distinctive source for wine, beer, and spirits. As a neighborhood store we can't stock every product, but at any given time we strive to maintain a diverse selection of the best products in every major category and price level. Our wide selection mirrors the diversity and good taste of our many wonderful neighborhood regulars. Be sure to stop by and pay us a visit!

This is how it works here You walk in the door, And your eyes are filled with endless bottles. You are usually tempted to leave if you want beer. Because you only see wine and spirits. I tend to stop you from leaving by saying BEER? And you reply YES., I casually walk you over to the most amazing beer locker ever. You go WOW! AND for the rest of you regulars I say hello, and or you ask for help and or whats new this week. Usually I inquire plans for the evening, drinking preferences w.e. After about a minute you walk out with a bottle or a few six packs of our finest brews. But sometimes we end up talking about awesome beer, bourbon or wine (30 mins later you leave) Anyway you need advice regarding beer, bourbon, wine, cheese. Ive pretty much enjoyed it all and still do., so I will be here to make your happy ~Marshall Fun facts we have over 500 craft beers we have thousands of wines we have 100s of bourbons, scotch, whiskey we have cheese, salami, caviar, smoked salmon, crackers. bonus fun fact I will usually enjoy a drink or two with my regulars !
