Along Rock Creek Park near a few other embassies, the Czech Embassy was our favorite stop on the 2024 EU Open House. Thanks to their large outdoor space, it felt less crowded than other embassies....

We were here for the "Christmas market" event that was free and open to the public. What a disappointment. No music, no decorations, no ambience. Just a few sad tables inside a room selling some...

This visit offered guests so much. We entered and were met by friendly vendors offering samples of wine (very smooth & sweet). Gifts of slap bracelets, mugs, puzzles, pens, candy, a sample package...
