History

Del Sur Cafe has been a lifelong dream of creative partners and best friends Marcos Sosa and Juan Machado. They moved to the United States in 2001 and in Washington D.C. have worked their way up within the restaurant industry. Their hope is to share their passion for South American food with their customers in a warm and inviting environment.

Bienvenidos! Welcome! Del Sur Cafe is a South American restaurant located in the heart of Dupont Circle in Washington D.C. We feature dishes from multiple countries in South America, including Uruguay, Argentina, Colombia, and Peru. We are open for dinner Tuesday-Saturday and we also offer a happy hour Tuesday-Friday.
