Founded in 1971, Humanim is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with disabilities and is located in Columbia, Md. It offers a wide range of mental health services, such as crisis intervention, psychiatric evaluation, group and family therapies, treatment planning and review and therapeutic day programs. It also offers a variety of neurorehabilitation services that include neuropsychological assessment, acute comprehensive rehabilitation, day and residential programs and training seminars for families and professionals. It also provides consulting services for various human resources requirements. HumRRO s personnel policies and programs include evaluation, research and studies of the department of defense. It has a center for employment security education and research. It additionally provides training and support services for the Department of the Defence. Its research team includes experts from industrial and experimental psychology and from related fields, such as sociology, operations research, computer science, economics and educational research.
