The DC Youth Orchestra Program (DCYOP) is a premier ensemble-based classical music education initiative located in Washington, D.C., celebrating 65 years of empowering young musicians. With nine diverse ensembles, 30 dedicated faculty, and instruction across 16 instruments, DCYOP serves 500 students from 200 schools and 100 zip codes, providing an enriching musical journey for all skill levels.

In addition to its core programs, DCYOP offers specialized training and performance opportunities for exceptional students, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds, through initiatives like the Talent Development Program and the Washington Musical Pathways Initiative.
