History

DC Way started as an after-school soccer program, but after overwhelming interest from parents who saw their children's progress in the program, DC Way has grown to include Summer Camps, After-School Programs, One Day Camps, and much more! At DC Way, we're teaching skills that are vital both on and off the field through fun and simplified activities. By improving technique, we ensure that players build confidence and other critical abilities. We believe that quick thinking and decision-making are essential parts of the game. At DC Way, our mission is to provide a fun and safe learning experience that engages players of all levels by virtue of soccer for social and cognitive development. We have a passion for creating a positive relationship with the sport as well as the surrounding community.

Specialties

Our business centers around providing an interactive and friendly environment in the sport of soccer while teaching vital leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship skills. Our young soccer players build confidence as they develop cognitive skills, and most importantly, our parents love that DC Way offers a soccer community where their children can grow up, leading to high-level engagement in competitive soccer or continuing participation in our Counselor-in-Training program. Up and coming, we have our exciting soccer programs including Summer Camps, Capitol Hill League, Kids Academy, One Day Camps, After-School Programs, Weekly Skills Clinics, Goalkeeping School, 2 Rivers Wednesday Camp, and Learning Pods! We believe that physical and mental health is pivotal for children during this period. Therefore, we structured our programs to help improve our players' moods, boost confidence and self-image, and relieve stress. We will offer a new topic, skill set, and life lesson each class to build a foundation for our players to continually progress as both soccer players and people.
