David Sternberg, LICSW, is the founder and director of DC Talk Therapy. After a successful solo private practice of 10 years, he expanded to a group psychotherapy practice in 2012. DC Talk Therapy now has 14 psychotherapists and two offices in Woodley Park.
Specialties
We have 14 therapists who specialize in treating young adults (20s and 30s) for depression, anxiety and relationship problems, primarily using cognitive behavioral therapy, or CBT. We offer individual counseling, couples therapy/marriage counseling and group therapy. We have three trauma specialists, an OCD specialist and a couples counselor, Barbara Donesky, who was voted as one of the top three marriage counselors in D.C.
