City Tavern Club, located in Washington, DC, was saved from demolition in the late 1950s by a group of dedicated Georgetown residents. Membership at this exclusive club, which includes lawyers, government officials, and doctors, is by invitation only.

Since 1961, City Tavern Club has been a historic gathering place where influential individuals from Georgetown and the DC area convene.
