American Bar Association is one of the largest voluntary professional associations in the world, representing legal profession with more than 400,000 members. ABA provides law school accreditation, continuing legal education, information about the law, programs to assist lawyers and judges in their work, and initiatives to improve the legal system for the public. ABA supports a variety of charities that benefit and support the legal profession, including American Bar Endowment, Fund for Justice and Education, and American Bar Foundation. ABA conducts market research and provides statistics and research on lawyers and the legal profession. Some of its affiliated organizations include the Association of American Law Schools, National Association of Attorneys General, National Association of Women Judges, National Association of Women Lawyers, National District Attorneys Association, National Legal Aid and Defender Association, and National Lesbian and Gay Law Association. ABA is located in Chicago.

Arab American Institute ( AAI ) is a nonprofit organization committed to the civic and political empowerment of Americans of Arab descent.
