Nima Khavanin is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in complex microvascular reconstruction including breast reconstructive surgery and lower extremity reconstruction, as well as gender affirming surgery. After receiving his medical degree from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Dr. Khavanin completed his residency at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine for plastic and reconstructive surgery, and his fellowship in plastic and reconstructive microsurgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Khavanin’s research interests align with his clinical expertise. He sees his research as a way to take his patient care to the next level, where he will be able to offer patients cutting edge technology and research. Other research interests include tissue perfusion, lower extremity function and studying patient outcomes.

Ada Graham is a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon in the National Capital Region, specializing in colon and rectal surgery. She is passionate about working with referring physicians to provide patients with the most effective treatment option. Dr. Graham's research focuses on inflammatory bowel disease and quality improvement initiatives such as ERAS, Enhanced Recovery After Surgery. She chose colon and rectal surgery as a way to help improve people's quality of life.Dr. Graham received her undergraduate degree in linguistics from Dartmouth College, summa cum laude, and was a park ranger in New Zealand and high school teacher in Thailand all before attending medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She completed her general surgical residency at the George Washington University in Washington, DC, and her colorectal surgery fellowship at the University of Chicago.
