Anchor Mental Health Association

Anchorage Mental Health is a member agency of the District of Columbia Behavioral Health Association, dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive healthcare services to residents with mental illness or substance use disorders in Washington, DC. They collaborate with various healthcare providers, consumer and family run organizations, as well as academic institutions and community-based service providers to advocate for policy changes, improve service quality, and engage with diverse stakeholders to address the needs of the community.

As a proud member of the DCBHA, Anchorage Mental Health actively participates in monthly meetings to share best practices, challenges, and strategies with other members. They prioritize the well-being of their clients and believe in the importance of prevention, early identification and intervention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery. Anchorage Mental Health recognizes the significance of racial equity and supports the Black Lives Matter movement, aiming to create a District of Columbia where everyone receives equitable mental health care.
