Founded by the late Dr. Gary D. Wray, a renowned historian and local educator, Wray Educational Consulting is committed to creating the best World War II Museum in an authentic WWII facility. With the support of over 300 members, including dedicated volunteers known as the Bunker Busters, they have successfully restored Battery 519, a 15,000-square-foot underground bunker, into a remarkable museum showcasing coastal defenses and the daily life of soldiers and civilians during World War II. Through their efforts, Wray Educational Consulting continues to preserve history and provide a unique and enriching experience for all who visit the Fort Miles Museum.
