The Zwaanendael Club, established in 1905 by a group of civic-minded women, is dedicated to promoting community improvement through volunteer service in Lewes, Delaware. Housed in a historic building constructed in 1898, the club has evolved from its early meetings in members' homes to a central location that serves various community organizations.
In 1929, the building was donated to the Zwaanendael Women's Club, which has since expanded the facility to include a lending library and additional community resources.
