My background includes twenty years as a Registered nurse, 8 years as a mom, and 6 years as a lactation consultant. My experience has taught me lactation support is most effective when consultants meet moms right where they are and help them get where they'd like to be. There is no cookie-cutter approach to breastfeeding that works for every family and most babies don't behave the way the books state they do; most don't even behave the same way their older siblings or did. Even multiples have different feeding styles, and what works for one family, one baby, or one situation might not work for another. Please call me if you need help figuring out what works for your family as it is right now, or even if you're unsure about what you need. We offer prenatal breastfeeding education and postnatal lactation consultation, either in our office or in your home. We also offer weekly meetings for ongoing support. We offer home visits in Camden, Burlington and Gloucester Counties. Our many years of experience have taught us that every family is different--indeed, every baby is different. Our mission is to help ALL families achieve their unique breastfeeding goals, as defined by each individual family.
