About Our Congregation Temple Beth El was founded in 1954 by a small group of Jewish families. The Congregation moved into its present building in September of 1984. At present, our congregation consists of 257 family units and there are about 200 children enrolled in our religious school. We are affiliated with the Jewish Reconstructionist Federation which emphasizes community and evolving Judaism.

I recently visited TBE for a bar mitzvah. The shul is very nice and keeps with the style of synagogues in the area. It was likely built in the 1960s. It still has the design and odor of such....
