Located in Wilmington, Del., the St. Francis Family Practice Residency Program provides educational support and learning opportunities for family physicians. It is affiliated with Temple University School of Medicine and is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. The program offers courses in surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics and emergency medicine in the first year. The St. Francis Family Practice Residency Program focuses on various subspecialty topics, such as dermatology, neurology, psychiatry, cardiology and geriatrics. It maintains a family practice center that provides residents direct access to patients, as well as operates a laboratory and diagnostic facilities.
