Pop-a-Lock was originally founded in the early 1990's by law enforcement personnel who saw the need to unlock cars. Pop-A-Lock expanded into unlocking cars, homes and business. The business further expanded into providing full locksmith services including making keys for Cars, homes and businesses, as well as changing locks, high security, etc. As a public service, Pop-A-Lock will unlock a car for FREE if a child is accidentally locked inside.

The first Pop-A-Lock location opened in 1991 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Since then, Pop-A-Lock has opened dozens of locations across the nation. One thing that hasn't changed is the local, community feel that each location delivers. I lost my last car key. The dealer wanted $50 a key plus a $200 service fee, and the car had to be towed. Pop-A-Lock came to my home and charged much less. Jason did a great job.
