Middletown High School

Established in 1997, Middletown High School serves more than 1,500 students in grades nine through 12. It offers classes in various foreign languages, including Chinese, French, German, Japanese and Spanish. The school offers various academic programs in English, science, computer and environmental science, mathematics and social studies. It has a music and performing arts department offering classes in music and theater. Middletown High School also provides various extracurricular activities, including agriculture, ski club and special Olympics. The high school has a library and state service center, as well as a more than 750-seat auditorium and 1,200-seat gymnasium. Middletown High School also provides sports activities, such as football, hockey, baseball, tennis and swimming.
