Brandywine Counseling is a nonprofit agency that provides alcohol and drug treatment on an outpatient basis. The agency offers counseling and related assistance to addicted persons and families for chemical addiction and associated problems. Its programs reflect a holistic model that addresses an individual's thinking, behavior and lifestyle to prevent relapse. Brandywine Counseling s staff consists of certified counselors, registered nurses, psychologists and physicians. The agency gives diagnostic evaluations and appropriate treatment, as well as any necessary referrals. It is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. Brandywine Counseling has locations in Wilmington, Newark, Georgetown and Claymont, Del.
