Seasonal Civil War Fort and Living History Museum. Fort Delaware is locate on Pea Patch Island and is situated in the Delaware River between the State of Delaware and New Jersey. It is open to the public from May - August (hours listed) and then in September on weekends only (Saturday & Sunday) for living history and civil war reenactments and programs. In October, Paranormal Adventure Programs are hosted on Friday and Saturday evenings. Operating schedule may vary due to COVID-19. Currently in 2022, there are no restrictions. Please visit the Park Website for up to date information and detailed hours and program information. Fort is subject to weather related closings and may close abruptly during storms, fog and high winds.

This was a really cool park, and you get to (have to) ride a boat to it. There was a decent amount of parking near the visitor center, but there were other events in the area, so it could vary....
