The Delaware Adolescent Program, also known as DAPI, is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of school-based services for pregnant teenagers, young parents and their families. Founded in 1969, it provides various programs related to academic instructions, child care, and medical and social services. The Delaware Adolescent Program administers the Laurel Kids Connection Mentoring Program, which includes services in the areas of academic achievement, community involvement, and job and career planning for nearly 50 students. The organization offers on-site medical attention through a certified nurse, child-birth classes and case management services for students during the course of pregnancy.
