The Delaware Health and Social Services department, also known as DHSS, is governed by the State of Delaware. It specializes in the promotion of health and well-being of people. It specializes in emergency, environmental, health alert, certification and licensing, institutional, laboratory, screening, and minor and rural health services. The Division of Public Health offers a variety of adolescent health, early childhood, immunization, reproductive health and tuberculosis elimination, as well as women, infants and children nutrition supplement programs.
