Chesapeake Care Resources is a nonprofit human service agency that provides residential, vocational, day habilitation, respite, health, transportation, and social and recreational programs for individuals with mental disabilities. British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults of all ages, beginning as early as 3 months. Located inside of Modern Maturity Center, our swim school is open year-round, so you can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

The Providence Service Corporation of Delaware is a division of the Providence Service Corporation, a network of providers that includes more than 37,000 clients served from approximately 205 locations in more than 30 states. The PSC of Delaware location was established in 2003. Its individualized residential treatment program was designed to reduce the need for hospitalization and residential placements of children. This program delivers treatment interventions designed to meet the needs of each child and family. Services are offered in the community through specialized, therapeutic foster care and supportive services. It also collaborates with the Department of Youth Rehabilitative Services to provide home- and community-based services aimed at reducing recidivism and the need for institutionalization. Other services include in-home counseling, behavioral interventions, school-based individual and group counseling, day treatment, adult services, outpatient therapy, substance abuse services and sex offender counseling.
