Yantic Falls, also known as Indian Leap Falls or Unca's Leap Falls, is a captivating natural landmark located in Norwich, Connecticut. The falls are notable for their impressive width and height, cascading into a narrow gorge before expanding into a large pool, set against an industrial backdrop that tells the story of centuries of water-powered development.

The area holds historical significance, particularly for the Mohegan Indians, with legends surrounding battles fought in the region. The falls have been a catalyst for industrial growth since the establishment of a grist mill in the 1600s, with subsequent industries such as paper making and cotton production flourishing until the early 1900s.

Passing through and wanted to take a quick break. This location was a great little spot to have a quick snack and relax next to the roaring water sounds from the falls!
