Apple Health Care provides care to seniors through a variety of specialized services including short-term rehabilitation, Alzheimer s, dementia and hospice care and has more than 25 homes within the group, one of which is Brightview, located in Avon, Conn. It is a single-storey, 60-bed home with restaurant-style dining, a beauty salon, laundry service and TV and phone connections. The Apple Health Care staff at Brightview treat the individual needs of each resident according to their functional level and its licensed therapists provide physical, speech, and occupational therapy for individuals recovering from major illness or surgery, neurological disorders and orthopedic conditions.
