The Winsted Health Center Foundation offers health care services for the residents of northwestern Connecticut and southwestern Massachusetts. The foundation conducts several fundraising activities. It operates the Winsted Health Center, which offers ambulatory health care services for more than 30,000 people in the Barkhamsted, Colebrook, Hartland, East Hartland, West Hartland and New Hartford communities in Connecticut and Sandisfield and Tolland in Massachusetts. The Winsted Health Center provides cardiac rehabilitation and physical therapy services. It also offers treatment for various sleep disorders. The center operates a laboratory that provides on-site diagnostic testing and blood drawing services. The Winsted Health Center maintains a thrift shop that offers clothing, houseware, appliances and jewelry items.
